Transformer Input

The plug-in transformer shall plug into a 120 VAC 60 Hz outlet not controlled by a switch and all 16- to 18-gauge wire shall run through conduit and connect to the ES501 or ES502 Transformer Enclosure.

  • 50 VA Plug-in: Models 327 and 327-CAN

  • 56 VA Wire-in: Model 322 in enclosure, Model 323 mounted on backplate for use in 350/350A enclosure

  • 100 VA Wire-in: Model 324 in enclosure, Model 324P mounted on backplate for use in 350/350A enclosure, pre-installed with 352X enclosures

Standby Battery

  • 12 VDC, 1.0 A Max. charging current on Models 364, 365, 366, 368, or 369

  • Replace every 3 to 5 years

Auxiliary

  • 12 VDC output at 2 A Max

  • 12 VDC output at 325 mA used with two Model 364 batteries in the Model 341 enclosure

Bell Output

12 VDC at 2 A Max

All circuits are inherent power limited except the red battery wire and AC terminal.

See 50 VA-100 VA Transformer Selections for more information.

Communication Features

  • Built-in network communication to DMP Model SCS-1R or SCS-VR Receivers

  • Built-in 128- or 256-bit or TLS-encrypted communication to DMP SCS-1R or SCS-VR receivers. TLS encryption is supported with SCS-VR receivers only.

  • Optional 263LTE Series Cellular Module

  • Can operate as a local panel

Note: 256-bit encrypted messages sent to SCS-1R receivers require an SCS-104 Receiver Line Card with firmware version 102 or higher.

TLS-encrypted messages sent to SCS-VR receivers require firmware version X or higher.

Panel Zones

Ten burglary zones (zones 1–10) with 1 kΩ–10 kΩ EOL resistance, automatically detected

Keypad Bus

Connect up to 16 of the following supervised keypads and expansion modules to the two keypad bus connections:

  • Alphanumeric keypads

  • Graphic Touchscreen keypad

  • 4, 8, and/or single-zone expansion modules

  • Access control modules

LX5-LX9 Bus

You can connect the following devices to the LX-Bus connections provided on the panel:

  • 4, 8, 16 and/or single-zone expansion modules

  • Single-zone detectors

  • Relay output expansion modules

Outputs

The XR650 provides 2 SPDT relay outputs that require the installation of 2 Model 305 relays, each rated 1 A at 30 VDC resistive (power limited sources only). A Model 431 Output Harness is required to use these outputs.

The XR650 also provides 4 open-collector outputs rated for 50 mA each. The open-collector outputs provide ground connection for a positive voltage source. A Model 300 Output Harness is required to use these outputs.

Enclosures

The XR650 is shipped in an enclosure with end-of-line resistors, battery leads, and a user reference card that includes a QR code to the online user guide. Transformers are ordered separately.
