Description

Exit Delay

EXIT DELAY: 60

Enter the exit delay time (0-250 seconds) for all Exit zone types in the area. The default is 60 seconds. When the Exit Delay time begins, activity from those zones and other non-24-hour zone types in the area is ignored until the delay expires.

The keypad displays a countdown of the remaining Exit Delay time and sounds the Exit Delay tone at 8-second intervals. During the last 10 seconds, the tone sounds at 3-second intervals.

If an Exit zone trips, restores, and trips again during the Exit Delay, the timer restarts. The timer can only restart once.

Refer to Exit Error Operation for more information.

Closing Check

CLS CHK NO YES

NO (default)—Disable this option.

YES — Enable the panel to verify that all system areas are armed when a permanent or extended schedule expires. If any areas remain disarmed after the scheduled time, the keypads selected to display System Trouble messages display CLOSING TIME! and emit a steady beep.

Programming Behavior

  • When Auto Arm is set to No, the system waits 10 minutes for the area to be armed or the schedule to be extended. If neither occurs, a Late to Close report is sent to the receiver.

  • When Auto Arm is set to Yes, the area automatically arms when the schedule expires.

  • If an area becomes disarmed outside of a schedule, the Closing Check sequence begins after the Late Arm Delay expires.

  • When Closing Check is set to No and Auto Arm is set to Yes, the system immediately arms when the schedule expires. No warning tone sounds, and the option to extend the schedule does not display.

Closing Code

CLS CODE NO YES

NO (default) — Allow the system to be armed without a user code.

YES — Require a user code to arm the system.

Any Bypass

YES — Allow each area to follow individual sets of area schedules programmed in the User Menu.

Early Morning Ambush

EARLY AMBUSH: 0

Enter the number of minutes (1-15) allowed between two valid user codes before a silent alarm (Early Morning Ambush) report is sent to the monitoring center using the Area 1 account number.

Enter 0 to disable this option.

When a user code is entered to disarm Area 1 at a keypad or reader with Access Areas assigned to Area 1, enter the same or a different user code within the programmed time to prevent the ambush report from being sent. The second user code also needs to have authority to disarm Area 1.

Note: A zone activation with Alarm Action set to Message C also cancels the Early Morning Ambush timer and report from being sent to the receiver. The keypad does not display an indication while the timer is running. See Report to Transmit in Zone Information.

Output Indications

You can provide visual or other indications of the Early Morning Ambush timer by assigning outputs in Output Options:

  • Entry Out turns on 1 minute before the timer expires and turns off when the timer expires.

  • Ambush Out turns on when the timer expires and turns off when a sensor reset is performed.

NO (default) — Disable this option.

YES — Automatically arm the area according to permanent, temporary, or extended schedules. If no schedules are programmed, the area auto arms every hour.

When Closing Check is set to Yes, automatic arming occurs after the 10-minute Closing Check delay. If the area is disarmed outside of a permanent or temporary schedule, the Closing Check sequence begins one hour after the area is disarmed.

Note: For ANSI/SIA CP-01 UL installations, automatic arming cannot be used for arming.

Bad Zones

BAD ZONES: BYP

BYP FORC REF

📍 Displays if Automatic Arming is set to Yes.

At the time of automatic arming, some zones in the area may not be in normal condition. This option determines how the panel handles zones that are in a bad condition during automatic arming.

  • BYP (default) — Bypass all bad zones. If Bypass Reports is set to Yes, a bypass report is sent to the receiver with SCH as the user number.

  • FORC — Force arm all bad zones. A zone that is force armed in a bad condition can restore and send an alarm report if it is tripped. If Bypass Reports is set to YES, a forced zone report is sent to the receiver with SCH as the user number.

  • REF — Refuse automatic arming. No arming occurs, and a No Closing report is sent to the receiver regardless of the Closing Check selection.

Automatic Disarming

AUTO DIS NO YES

NO (default) — Disable this option.

YES — Automatically disarm the area according to schedules. If an opening report is sent to the receiver, the user number is indicated as SCH.

Burglary Bell Output Number

BURG BEL OUT: 0

Enter the output number to activate when a Burglary zone goes into alarm.

The output turns off when an area is disarmed and no other Burglary zones are in alarm. You can also turn off the output using Alarm Silence in the User Menu or by entering a user code with authority to silence alarms.

The output remains on for the duration set in Bell Cutoff Time in Bell Options. The burglary bell output also activates for two seconds each time the system is armed.

Armed Output Number

ARMED OUTPUT: 0

Enter the output number to activate when the area is armed. If an exit delay is programmed for the area, the output turns on when the exit delay begins. The output turns off when the area is disarmed.
