Description

Instant Arming

INST ARM NO YES

NO (default) — INSTANT does not display on the arming keypad during arming.

YES — INSTANT displays on the arming keypad for selecting during the exit countdown delay when arming fewer than all system areas.

When INSTANT is selected, entry and exit delays for the areas being armed are ignored. Entry delays for previously armed areas are not affected.

Closing Wait

CLS WAIT NO YES

NO (default) — Disable this option.

YES — The keypad displays ONE MOMENT… while waiting for an acknowledgement from the receiver before arming the selected areas and performing a Bell Test (if selected). Exit delays begin after the Closing Wait.

Entry Delay 1, 2, 3, and 4

ENTRY DLY 1: 30

ENTRY DLY 2: 60

ENTRY DLY 3: 90

ENTRY DLY 4: 120

Enter the number of seconds (30-250) for the Entry Delay time for all Exit type zones. When an armed Exit zone is faulted, the keypad prewarn tone sounds. Keypads programmed to prewarn for that zone display ENTER CODE:- and the zone name causing the Entry Delay.

Note: For UL installation's, the combined Transmit Delay (Abort Window) and Entry Delay cannot exceed 1 minute.

Cross Zone Time

CRS ZONE TM: 4

Enter the number of seconds (4-240) allowed between zone faults. The default is 4. Enter 0 to disable this option.

When zones are cross-zoned, ensure the same zone or a second cross-zoned zone faults within the programmed time for an Alarm report for both zones to send to the receiver. If the Cross Zone time expires without the second zone faulting, only a zone fault from the first zone is reported.

See Cross Zoning.

Zone Retard Delay

RETARD DLY: 10

Enter the retard delay time (1-250 seconds) for Fire, Supervisory, Auxiliary 1, Auxiliary 2, Arming, Holdup, and Panic type zones. The default is 10 seconds. Enter 0 to disable this option.

This delay only applies when a zone is shorted. The zone needs to remain shorted for the entire delay period before the panel recognizes the fault.

Power Fail Hours

POWER FAIL HRS: 1

Enter the number of hours (1-15) AC power can be off before an AC Power Failure report is sent to the receiver.

The default is 1 hour. Enter 0 to disable this option.

Swinger Bypass Trips

SWGRBYPS TRIPS: 2

Enter the number of times (1-6) a zone can enter an Alarm or Trouble condition within 1 hour before being automatically bypassed. The default is 2. Enter 0 to disable this option.

Bypassed zones are automatically reset when the area they are assigned to is disarmed. All 24-hour zones are reset when any area of the system is disarmed. A Bypass report is sent to the receiver if Bypass Reports is set to Yes.

Reset Swinger Bypass

RST SBYP NO YES

NO (default) — Disable this option.

YES — Reset the automatically bypassed zone if it remains in a normal condition for 1 hour after being bypassed. A report of the automatic reset is sent to the receiver if Bypass Reports is set to Yes.

Zone Activity Hours

ZN ACTY HRS: 0

This option monitors activity for a person living alone.

Enter the number of hours (0-9) that can elapse without a disarmed zone being tripped before a message is sent to the receiver. The default is 0, which disables this option.

When the system is disarmed, the activity timer begins counting down. Each time activity occurs, the timer restarts. Before the timer expires, the keypad sounds a tone and displays PRESS ANY KEY, which allows the user to restart the activity timer. The tone duration is determined by the number of seconds programmed for Entry Delay 2.

See Zone Activity Check Messages.

Request Time Change

Bypass Limit

BYPASS LIMIT: 0

Enter the maximum number of zones (0-8) that can be bypassed in any single area when that area is being armed at a keypad. The default is 0, which disables this feature.

If the number of zones that are not in a normal state or are already bypassed exceeds this limit, the area cannot be armed and Arming Stopped displays.

Wireless House Code

WIRELESS
HOUSE CODE: 0

Enter a house code from 1 to 50 to allow the DMP panel, receiver, and transmitters to communicate with one another. The default is 0, which means no wireless system is being used.

The receiver listens for signals from transmitters that have a matching house code and programmed serial number. After you change the house code, allow up to 2 minutes for the transmitters to learn the new code and resume normal operation.

Detect Wireless Jamming

DETECT WIRELESS JAMMING: NO YES

📍 Displays if Wireless House Code is 1-50.

NO (default) — Disable jamming messages.

YES — Enable jamming messages to display in the Status List. When the wireless receiver detects jamming, a jammed trouble (when disarmed) or jammed alarm (when armed) message displays in the Status List and is sent to the monitoring center.

1100 Series Wireless Encryption

1100 ENCRYPTION
ALL BOTH NONE

📍 Displays if Wireless House Code is 1-50.

Wireless encryption allows the panel to communicate with encrypted 1100 Series wireless devices.

  • NONE (default) — Disable this feature.

  • ALL — Allow encryption for all wireless devices programmed in the panel.

  • BOTH — Allow encryption for all selected wireless devices programmed in the panel.

Wireless Passphrase

DAY (default) — Enable annunciation from 9 AM to 9 PM.

ANY — Enable annunciation anytime.

MIN — Enable annunciation for only Fire and Supervisory zones from 9 AM to 9 PM,

Enable Keypad Panic Keys

KEYPAD PANIC KEYS

Enhanced Zone Test

ENHANCED ZONE
TEST: NO YES

NO (default) — Disable this option.

YES — Allow enhanced zone test operation for the Walk Test, Panic Test, and Burglary Zone Test in the User Menu. See Test the System.

Enhanced zone operation enables the following options:

  • A Verify message sends each time a zone is tested. If a zone is tripped multiple times, a Verify message is sent for each trip to allow the monitoring center to record the number of devices per zone.

  • A Verify message for each zone test is sent every time a zone is tripped instead of at the end of the Walk Test.

  • The System Test Begin and System Test End monitoring center messages indicate the zone type being tested. The System Test Begin message also includes the user name and number.

Keypad Armed LED

KEYPAD ARMED LED

Panic Supervision

PANIC SUPERVISION
NO YES

NO — Disable this option.

YES — Enable 30-day supervision for the 1144 Series Key Fob.

This feature allows a lost key fob or one with a dead battery to be identified as a missing transmitter by the monitoring center’s host automation system without requiring a Supervision Time to be programmed in Zone Information.

The key fob automatically sends a supervision message to the receiver every 4 hours, which resets the 30-day countdown timer for the key fob serial number. If the 30-day timer expires, the receiver sends a Zone Missing message to the host automation system.

Weather Zip Code

ENTER WEATHER
ZIP CODE: 0

This feature enables the keypad to display local U.S.A weather updates. Enter your zip code to use this option. The default is 0, which disables this option.

Reference

Cross Zoning

Use caution when cross zoning devices. Ensure the Cross Zone Time is long enough for an intruder to trip both devices before the timer expires.

When a cross-zoned device trips, a FAULT report is sent to the receiver. If both cross-zoned devices trip within the configured Cross Zone Time, both zones send ALARM signals to the receiver.

If the Cross Zone Time is too short, an intruder may trip both devices after the timer expires, which causes only a FAULT report to be sent instead of ALARM signals.

Zone Activity Check Messages

Select the SUPV/TRBL receiver option in the Communication programming menu to send the following zone activity check messages:

  • S93 ALARM — User Activity Not Detected

  • S94 ALERT — Activity Check Enabled

  • S95 ALERT — Activity Check Disabled
